Slipstream Seat

Carlos & Whiplash, went above & beyond. Initially, I didn’t know what I wanted and Carlos sent pictures as suggestions, then I made the decision, a few days went by and I change my mind and I might’ve changed my mind one more time.. throughout the whole process. Carlos was accommodating and understanding, not once did he make me feel like “that”, customer . I look forward to referring my fellow riders to him.

Got the Slipstream. Great seat for a tall rider if you get the 1” further back option.

Amazing hand crafted seat

I ordered a slipstream seat all gripper material tuck and roll with the comfort gel and 1 inch back. I needed a comfortable seat that would also hold me in place so I don't slide off due to my bike's extreme torque and power. This seat is everything I could hope for. I am sitting low down, in a cruiser position, and the material grips me to the seat wonderfully! The seat does not need a break in period. My other motorcycles have La Pera and Saddlemen seats, but this Whiplash seat beats them all hands down! It is worth every penny! Now I'm hoping the seats on my other 3 bikes wear down quickly so I can buy Whiplash seats for all my bikes. I highly recommend.

I waited to write this review until I had about 1,000 miles on the seat. I struggled deciding between 4 or 5 stars. I’d say 4.75. Seat looks awesome, materials seem to be higher quality than some others I’ve seen. My only complaint is the seat doesn’t completely follow the rear fender. I had to jam the seat forward into the tank and push it down/forward for the rear mounting screw to fit. I’m all for a snug fit, but this is just a bit much. It doesn’t sit all the way down at the rear. I’ve checked clearance for everything on the bike and nothing. Ultimately it’s not a huge deal. Seat looks and functions as it should.

Customer service is great. I placed my order on a weekend. Monday morning I happened to see a post on their Instagram of a camo accent strip and wanted it. All over the site and order process, it’s pretty clear that you need to be positive about what you order, because it can’t be changed. I shot a message to customer service, expecting to be told no (totally understandable), but to my surprise they said they could do it!

The comfort is great. Brought the ride position down and back a little. Longest ride so far was only about 200 miles. But I could tell a huge improvement overall. Won’t have an issue doing 500+ miles on it.

Overall a great seat. I’m happy with the purchase. Will definitely buy another when the need arises.
